WSUV Event
For the suture clinic event, Elson S Floyd School of Medicine WSU med students came down to teach hands-on skills to WSUV students interested in health care. Their stations included suturing/knot tying, laparoscopic training, injections, and clinical presentations (e.g., appendicitis, cholecystitis). Pre-dental also had a station with a parent volunteer. The station included taking impressions, making temporary crowns, and a head/neck and oral cancer screening. Thank you so much to the medical students and Dr. Aly for teaching WSUV students valuable clinical skills and answering career path questions! Thank you to the prehealth and predental club for making this event happen for WSUV students!
